Diablo 2 update.
Level: 6 (finally!)
Progress: Still working on quest #3, but got side-tracked by a sparkly chest area. At least this one gave me some good loot.
Side story:
I started playing Diablo 2 quite a long time after it came out. I used to roll my eyes and shake my head whenever Brett played it, in fact. But then came a PS2 game called Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. Now, I played the PC versions of Baldur's Gate, and really liked it, so when the PS2 game came out (and those bastards, they're making a sequel) came out, I just had to have it.
Anyway, so Brett said that if I liked BG:DA, I'd probably like Diablo 2. He's now created a monster.
My first character was an Amazon, who I eventually beat the first level of the game with. I started up a sorceress, who's on the brink of it. When I started her up, Brett said, "Remember, you're not a front line fighter anymore."
Well, that's true, but...
There's just something very fulfilling about watching the sorceress beat the shit out of something.
Sometimes, I envision the faces of people who irritate me on the things she's cracking over the head.
