Then, of course, there is J'lor's foo,
Which is frightening, it's quite true--
But he's got those fearsome Pants, too!

K'nan's knives, or so it's oft said,
Never cut fruit, cake, or mere bread.
They only render herdbeasts dead,

Kassima's known now, far and wide,
For her actions when proddified--
She's a madwoman, bona fide!

F'hlan and M'kla both get bet on,
'Cause some Weyrfolk still are set on
Seeing which will next beget spawn,

There's P'tran, Lord of the Weather,
He who makes decisions whether
Snow and springtime go together,
And that's good enough for me!
