If you want to go places where fun's never ceased,
Then, m'dear friend, why not try going East?
Benden Weyr, Benden Hold, Bitra's Gambling Den--
Why, when you're in the East, the wild times never end!

If you want to lose marks, or to have them increased,
It's my advice that you should try going East.
The bettors at Bitra will soon clean you out,
And if you beat them, 'tis worth bragging about!

If you want to go where things aren't sane in the least,
There's only one way you can go, and that's East!
Benden Weyr is known as the Weyrdest Weyr of Pern,
And this rep is well-founded, or so many learn!

If you want some fine wine that goes well with a feast,
What direction could you possibly go but East?
Benden Hold has a Crafthall where the Vintners stay,
Making the best brews e'er seen in modern day!

So if you want to be where the fun's never ceased,
Then my friend, you should be in one place--and that's East!
