M'hryn's Pants Are Burning

Kassima: "Kiat, I don't even want t'know whom you're speaking of when it comes t'fitting in your underpants. I really don't. Please, please, please, please spare me this knowledge, okay?"

Note: This song is a parody of 'Keylor's Rage,' which was written by Leslie Fish and is based on the Witch World novels by Andre Norton. Let credit for the original be given where it's due. Further thanks go to K'tyn, M'hryn, and everyone else who participated in this particular episode for providing inspiration, even though I doubt that was their precise intent.

M'hryn's Pants Are Burning

M'hryn's pants are burning,
Thanks to a drunk K'tyn.
He built up a big bonfire
And threw all the pants in!
He spared not trunks nor boxers,
But torched them, every one!
He laughs like nothing human--
Faranth, what has he done?
Oh, say he isn't drunk on Kassi's swill!
He didn't drink a full bottle of swill!

He struck a spark like lightning;
The hay went up in flame--
And then he added undies,
And they burned just the same!
We thought they were his own pants,
And couldn't understand
Just why on Pern he'd burn them...
But now, I guess we can.
I think he must be drunk on Kassi's swill!
I think he got drunk on that Black Gold swill!

M'hryn's pants are burning;
Into the blaze, they fell.
The price Kiat will suffer,
Faranth alone can tell!
And now he's toppling over;
We hear him laugh once more--
Quick, while he's drunk unconscious,
Let's all flee from this shore!
For none of us are drunk on Kassi's swill!
We'd more sense than to drink of Kassi's swill!
He's roasting by the fire while drunk on swi-i-ill!
