Too Sharding Many Blues

Kassima: "Welcome to 'Bite of Vidarth,' home of the Vidarthburger. May I take your order?"

Too Sharding Many Blues

Chorus:
Whenever 'lizard eggs are hatching, I'm usually standing by,
Ready to hold out some meat and give it one more try.
When given the chance to Impress, how could I refuse?
But now I find myself with just too sharding many blues!

Kyril is a handsome blue, as vain as vain can be;
He's always admiring himself in polished jewelry.
I swear that he shows less affection
For me than for his reflection!
And he makes this plain for nearly anyone to see!

Sapphron's personality didn't show much at first;
Nothing was apparent but his great hunger and thirst.
But now that others egg him on,
His placidness is all but gone--
And of my whole flaming fair, he'll sometimes be the worst!

(Chorus)

Kayvist's never standing still; this blue was born to race.
No matter what he does, it's done at the same rapid pace.
He takes no time at all to feed--
He bolts his food with blazing speed,
And then he's off again, hoping for more greens to chase!

Darvan is an angry one; in fact, if looks could kill,
All who've seen him to this day would be quite dead and still.
With a calm temper, he's not blessed,
As my bit fingers can attest!
And when it comes to bickering, he'll never get his fill!

(Chorus)

Keyvan is far from raucious; calm and thoughtful, he--
Sometimes I think his influence has saved my sanity!
But he has his little quirks:
He's fond of a klah they call "Flirk's."
And when Keyvan has drunk it, he goes on a crazy spree!

Kiral is the sweetest blue that I have seen as yet;
He would seem to be the most thoughtful and charming pet.
But when excited, his shrill cry
Could shatter glass, it is so high!
And if he doesn't shut up soon, I'll go deaf, you just bet!

(Chorus)

Aleri is another blue, hatched in the winter's snows;
As beautiful as ice is he--and rest assured, he knows.
Aloof, Aleri stands alone;
No compassion has he yet shown.
He resembles an ice statue, locked in a silent pose.

Ketril is confusing, a mixture of several kinds.
He has Darvan's fury, and I don't think that he minds.
Almost as fast as Kayvist, too,
He is a bolt of blazing blue--
And just when I've caught up with him, he'll leave us all behind!

(Chorus)

Kylandri's a merry sort, like I've not before seen--
He'd rather laugh at something than eat or chase a green.
Everything amuses him--
He'll never seem mad or grim--
Which makes him a great friend upon which to vent my spleen!

Kivrax seems quite quiet to those who don't know him well.
Darker than darkest night and hatched from a groovy shell,
He doesn't have that much to say
Unless something gets in his way!
And then you'd better plug your ears before he starts to yell!

(Chorus)

Khazarai is beautiful, as lovely as a dream;
He's nothing but a mirage, or so he likes to seem.
But he is spoiled because of this,
And when he gives a hungry hiss,
I know I'd better feed him, 'cause if I don't, he'll scream!

Khalvron isn't graceful; far from it, in fact.
Ever since his hatching, 'twould seem that's all he's lacked.
But that isn't quite all, you see...
If you could hear him, you'd agree!
'Cause in his mind, he's looney--I'd even say he's cracked!

(Chorus)

Kabochon's a different sort; he's really rather shy.
His wish to hide from people on occasion makes me sigh.
A dark and handsome smoky blue,
He's friendly enough--this is true.
But show these traits to others? I think that he'd sooner die!

Quixote is a bold one, with a deft dexterity;
All he cares for in this world is my prosperity.
He's loving and friendly, yes--
But mentally, surely a mess;
Impressing me when Lysseth glowed showed this, with clarity!

(Chorus)

Kholim's got a way about him; born to take command,
He rules over some other 'lizards with an iron hand.
That's not the sole quirk to his name;
He's rather awkward, to his shame.
But so long as he's giving orders, proudly he will stand!

Kyzrali's elegant and graceful; lofty is his air.
He knows that in aquatic beauty, he's beyond compare.
Yet he also has his flaws:
Instead of warbling, he caws!
But with his aloof serenity, 'twould seem he doesn't care.

(Chorus)

All of these lunatic blues I'll tend to, feed, and clean.
Accompanied by a gold, two browns, and many a weird green,
They'll creel all night and eat all day;
They'll shriek and sing and fight and play.
Certes, my life's more interesting since they came on the scene!

(Chorus.)
