Blood It

Kassima: "Most of the time, there's one fact in life that I know above all others: I love Lysseth, and she loves me. But for at least one sevenday each Turn, another fact replaces that: my dragon is a bloodthirsty, half-brained, overgrown vtol, and she thinks that I'm an irascible, arrogant, ice-hearted excuse for a human being. It's nice having things in life that you can count on."

Note: It's not hard to tell which song this is a filk of, but nevertheless, rules are rules. :) This parody is based on Michael Jackson's 'Beat It.' I found the concept too priceless to pass up, what can I say?

Blood It

I told you, if you're flying, get outta here!
Don't want to see you hesitate--the time is near!
The fire's in your hide, and your glow is really clear--
So blood it, just blood it.

You're gonna fly; don't disobey my commands!
I wanna see just blood, no meat, you understand?
You wanna escape; better do what you can--
So blood it! But you wanna eat bad--

Chorus:
Just blood it, blood it, blood it, blood it,
Eating meat simply won't cut it.
Show them how fast and strong is your flight;
You're sharding wrong, and I'm sharding right!
Just blood it, blood it,
Just blood it, blood it,
Just blood it, blood it,
Just blood it, blood it.

They're out to get you, better fly while you can;
Evading every dragon, now; the time's at hand.
If you wanna stay free, better do what you can--
So blood it, just blood it.

You have to show them you can outfly them all!
You're playing with the fire, and we both hear its call.
They'll race you and they'll chase you
When you're up in the air,
So blood it! But you wanna eat bad--

(Chorus repeats five times; finis.)
